Sustainability

  • WATER – The textile industry places huge demands on water resources. Our continual quest for innovation enables us to be better and more efficient. From keeping us healthy, to growing our food, to preserving natural environments, a plentiful supply of water is essential to the wellbeing of people and our planet. And, because we use a lot of water to produce and care for textiles, reuse of water through ETP, it’s essential to our business too.
  • CLIMATE CHANGE AND ENERGY – We look at every aspect of our value chain to reduce our energy consumption.

  • BIODIVERSITY – We are committed to protecting and developing the planet through the responsible management of natural resources.

  • COTTON – Cotton is the raw material we use the most. Cotton is an incredibly valuable resource that improves the lives of millions – from the farmers who grow it, to the spinners who turn it into thread, to you – who might we will be wearing it right now.

  • DYES & CHEMICALS – Dyes & chemicals play a major role in our industry. From helping us grow more cotton on less land, to softening fibers, to cleaning clothes with less water, chemicals are an incredibly useful resource. And most of them, used correctly, are completely harmless. We’re committed to finding ways to use them less, and continuously replace them with better alternatives. We are very much keen to use standard chemicals for our industry.
